I’ve never been one for setting New Year Resolutions. However, I do really like the idea of heading into a new year with a focus, a sort of, intention if you will.
You must know what I mean… That feeling of overwhelm. Life is full, there’s no space. Days seem to pass you by where it feels like all you’re doing is parenting and working. You go to bed so you can wake up and do the same thing again tomorrow. You feel yourself crumbling.
Preparing food is a core life skill. However, as humans, we have somehow allowed it to become a low priority over the past generation. Our lives are relentlessly busy. We are endlessly keeping up with an economic system which sees us trapped on the hamster wheel. We are living to work and losing sight of the basic skills of life along the way.
